All-Occasion BBQ Sauce
International flare meets peak-of-summer produce
This sauce will hit all the notes you want, whether you’re a sweet, spicy, vinegary, or golden BBQ kinda guy.
Ingredients
4 parts:
Ketchup
Brown sugar
Apple cider vinegar
2 parts:
Gojuchang paste
Dijon mustard
1 part:
Smoked paprika
Chili powder
and:
1 very ripe plum, peeled
examples of 4-2-1 part measurements:
1/2 cup of first 3 ingredients
1/4 cup of next 2 ingredients
2 tbsp of last 2 ingredients
Instructions
Peel & pit your plum and capture all the meat and juice of the fruit in a bowl. Squeeze the fruit meat to extract all juice. Set solids aside.
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Stir to combine while warming it through over low heat.
